In My Own Words
I spend my off-season: Thinking about riding on the trails of Decorah
I started racing because: It helps to push me beyond my potential!
My cycling mentors and/or influences are: Matthew “Flip” Busche, Jeff O’gara (Unicorn), Ben Shockey, Dr. Bullard, and anyone that finishes in front of me.
I consider my finest moment on the bike to be: Still to be determined, can always get better!
The one thing I’ve done on a bike that I will never do again: Skip two feed stops in a 24 hour solo race! OUCH!
When I’m not on my bike, I like to: XC Ski, Kayak, Trailwork, and think about the next time I am going to be on my bike!
