In My Own Words
I spend my off-season: studying, daydreaming about racing, cleaning my bike
My goals and expectations for 2009 are: a podium in Cat3 overall track standings, help win the Cat3 Superweek team standings.
I started racing because: I’m highly competitive, I get bored running and swimming, I’m too small for m= ost other sports, my wife likes what it does for my legs, bike rhymes with mike, I like to go fast, and I have a slight obsession for carbon fiber.
I consider my finest moment on the bike to be: winning the last race of the 2008 cat4 track season, the same race that I was lapped twice in the year prior.
The one thing I’ve done on a bike that I will never do again: Try to fix the chain on my track bike while the crank was rotating.
When I’m not on my bike, I like to: look at Bike Porn otherwise known as Ebay, play board games especially Settlers of Cattan.
